I have been a successful math/SAT tutor for over 25 years in education-oriented Northern Virginia. I've learned that most students really are more able to understand their math than they themselves believe. I encourage them to think through problems on their own, assisting with my academic and emotional support to boost their self-confidence. While agreeing with my students that math can be a challenge, teaching them how to problem solve will show them the life-long benefits of critical thinking.

I have a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Operations Research. I have many outstanding evaluations from students and their parents which I would be happy to share upon request.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
