I have recently graduated from Valencia College with an institution GPA of 3.47. I have been tutoring for Valencia College for 2 years. I have been able to teach students with many different learning styles how to master many concepts of mathematics ranging from Developmental Math, to College Algebra and even Trigonometry and Calculus. I could continue to try explain my accomplishments in the educational world, but what truly speaks to my abilities are the results. I've personally instructed students who were in danger of failing a course but ultimately passed their class. More importantly, they finished with a true understanding of the subject they just completed. My goal is to help students gain a strong understanding of the concepts of their subject so that they can become masters of the field they are pursuing. An "A" in a class means nothing if you don't truly understand the concepts behind what you were tested over. With my tutoring, students will without a doubt become true experts in their subject.
