Want to master that standardized test to get into the college of your choice? Need to improve your writing ability or desire help crafting a winning college admissions essay? Wish to brush up on your knowledge of US government, politics or economics?
If you answered yes to any of the above or need help in related subject areas, you have come to the right tutor. I have a BA from Hofstra University in Political Science with a minor in Economics. I also have a law degree (JD) from the University of Miami School of Law where I graduated with honors and won awards for research and writing. I am transitioning back to the education field because my true passion is helping young students maximize their future options by getting the grades they need and succeeding on the standardized tests that play such an important role in admissions decisions. In addition to my legal education, I have three years classroom teaching experience at the high school level and I have privately tutored high school students.
In addition, I have a personal track record of success on high pressure, standardized tests. For instance, I passed the Florida Bar Exam on my first attempt in 2006 and scored at the 90th percentile on the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) in 2002. I have a few strategies and tactics for optimum test taking that I am willing to share with you if you become my student.
I am not a babysitter, nor can you expect me to do the work for you. However, I will show up for each and every lesson prepared to expend 100% of my attention, enthusiasm and expertise to help you achieve the successful results you are seeking (in the classroom and on test day).
I would love to speak with you in greater detail about your needs, goals and expectations.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
