Hi! I am looking to tutor students in a variety of subjects, including Japanese and Microsoft Office applications. I graduated from Bucknell University in PA with a 3.7 GPA and majored in Japanese Studies, minored in Economics and had a concentration in Business Administration. I started studying Japanese 19 years ago and now have near-native fluency in reading, writing and speaking Japanese. I spent the last 13 years in the business and nonprofit world working in the fields of public relations, corporate philanthropy and fundraising. For eight of these years, I was employed at the headquarters of a major Japanese electronics company and performed all duties in Japanese, including writing and presenting speeches, writing press releases, and creating business plans. I have an excellent grasp of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. During high school and college, I was a teacher's assistant for first and second year Japanese language students and tutored children and adults in history, science, and ESL. I am very patient and friendly, work well with children and adults, and come from a family of teachers.
