I have four years of Bible Study: two years in High School, and two years at Belmont University in Nashville. I am currently involved in various bible studies both private and within pastor-led, formal bible study. I have (and continue) to study all areas of the Bible, especially in my walk as a member and a board chair (archivist) of the South Florida Sonshine Via de Cristo.
I personally studied Music Composition in courses both at University of Miami and Florida State University (under Dr. Carl Nosse). I continue to compose for commercial use, popular music recording, and for choral pieces.
I am the current I.T. Manager for Sagemont School, a position that encompasses skills such as VMware VSphere, Active Directory, Server 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. I taught these subjects at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Miami.
I have been in the computer/I.T. industry for almost 26 years and have been both instructor and student of the computer sciences for the past 11 years. I have developed some major business applications in the areas of accounting, inventory management, wholesale, Condo Gate Access, Membership, and food bank management.
My experience dates back to my classes in music theory at the University of Miami (Florida) School of Music. There, I studied theory for two years, which included basic and advanced ear training courses.
I have been a student of Juan Mercadal, (University of Miami) in the 70's, and of 9the late), Dell Staton. My Godfather is Harold Bradley, premier (retired) studio musician in Nashville. I currently play in front of audiences at least once per week. I began teaching in the 11th grade in 1970, and have the ability to teach from very beginning levels to advanced techniques for jazz, classical, rock, country, and other styles.
My last project was a full-scale membership database management and reporting application using nested SQL statements, advanced report generation, automatic google map interface, (with disparate fields), advanced active input schemas, full menu system, and user access through terminal services.
MS-Excel - Part of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Spreadsheeting asks the "what-ifs" in the business world. I can show how to perform simple calculating sheets, as well as complex trend-analysis sheets. Additionally, at times, Excel can be a reliable 'intermediary' application for the import and export of data items such as email contacts, database tables, etc. All of these are covered, and more.
I taught the course for MCSE, branching in the infrastructure direction, (as opposed to DBA). I currently service clients with desktop OS's ranging from XP to Windows 8, and Server OS's from Windows 2000, to SBS 2011 and essentials.
All of my knowledge comes from both real-world, hands-on experience, and from course work as a part of certification in various computer and networking technologies and disciplines; most notably, I taught official curriculum ("MOC") courses for Microsoft MCSE preparation, and for Cisco's CCNA, and CCNP certifications, for which I designed the course labs, prepared all of the handout sheets, and even created PowerPoint slides for the course (as Cisco's curriculum did not offer these at the time). I am considered an 'expert' in computer networking.
