I am a certified Language Arts teacher, licensed in Massachusetts and Florida. Teaching and thinking about teaching does not end when a typical school day concludes. Many students, especially these days have difficulty concentrating in a typical classroom setting. Many require one on one instruction and availability during the school day is rarely possible. I have personally seen moments of clarity in literature analysis, poetry and language deconstruction. I try to instill just that amount of confidence to prepare them for the onslaught of standardized testing that seemingly interrupts so much of their core learning.
