Currently, I teach GED (math, reading, science, writing and social studies) at an alternative school. I also counsel in financial aid, colleges, scholarships etc. and was one of six finalists out of more than 11,000 for best non-instructional employee of the year. I graduated cum laude from FIU and I like to teach very much. I am very patient and willing to explain the same thing over and over without getting upset. It is important to me that the student learns the material. I like to give a pretest and then go over each question to see what the student doesn't understand. Then go over that material first. I find that many students learn very well that way.
