My name is Sasha, and I am a senior at Florida International University studying Biology with a minor in Anthropology. I speak both Spanish and English and I have been tutoring students since I was 13 years old. In high school I graduated top 10% of my class with honors and AP credit in the math and sciences. When I graduate I plan on teaching within the public school system before I go to medical school to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. Unlike most other college students, I have taken all of the difficult science and math courses but also education courses on how to portray this material to students. Because these subjects are difficult, students need to have a one-on-one relationship in order to understand the key concepts to use for reference on exams and future classes. On a collegiate level, I am currently a teacher's assistant for genetics, biology 1 and biology 2, as well as ecology for the general biology department. I am fully prepared for any secondary level work and can aid with college level course loads as well.
