I am a National Certified tutor as well as Florida state certified math teacher 6th -12th grade. I had been tutoring at Broward College for the last 7 years. I taught different subjects varying from Pre-Algebra to Calculus and statistics. I also taught at Miramar High School as a student teacher teaching Algebra II, Statistics, and International Baccalaureate Mathematics. I am a SAT and ACT tutor. I had been tutoring elementary, middle school, and high school students to help them with their homework, test prep, and study skills. My tutoring technique includes listening to the students and finding out students' strength and weakness, probing questions to think critically, interactive, differentiated instruction (different approach to solve problems such as visual and hands-on), and providing reinforcement verbally and non-verbally. I prefer to tutor at public places such as library.
