When I took my first statistics course as an engineering undergrad, I never thought I would survive it...but I did!
Went on to pursue my Masters in Business Administration and lo and behold, it was staring me in the face once again...I thought, statistics and myself were definitely not a match!
Then, as I pursued my PhD at the University of Miami, as a doctoral candidate, I did not have a choice. I had to lecture any course given me by the department, as it was a requirement that every PhD candidate be able to lecture any course/subject assigned....You won't believe the first course/subject I was assigned to lecture? STATISTICS! LOL! Still didn't have much love for it initially but over the years lecturing it, with over 21 credit hours, I found love and enjoy lecturing and tutoring a subject which many find challenging.
I personally believe, the way in which Statistics generally is taught and presented to high school students and college undergrads can be frightening and overwhelming. So over the years lecturing students at UM, as well as, tutoring student athletes, students from Strayer University, Florida Memorial University, Barry University and St. Thomas, just to mention a few, I have applied simple steps and methodologies in order to make a subject which is perceived to be IMPOSSIBLE as POSSIBLE and ENJOYABLE.
In addition, in selecting me as your tutor, you would have found a caring, reliable, honest, positive, motivational, consistent, and hard working tutor; In the case if you don't, ALWAYS BELIEVE THAT ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE...Yes! Even STATISTICS!
