I am experienced as both an elementary teacher and middle school math teacher. For thirty-six years I taught K-6 in self contained rooms and as a math specialists. I also was a curriculum coach for the same public school district in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In that position I demonstrated lessons for K-5 math teachers, wrote and presented professional development for teachers, did workshops for parents,and wrote curriculum. Following my retirement from the public school district, I took a position as the math coordinator for a K-8 private school and taught a math methods class at the University of Pittsburgh for students in a masters program. In 2009, I moved to Florida and taught sixth grade math for the Broward school district.
