I truly enjoy teaching students one on one. It is great to see students excel and grow in knowledge and knowing that I have helped jumpstart that process. Every student is different, every learning style is different, and it is difficult for many to understand that. None of my sessions are the same because I cater to each and everyone of my students. I have tutored for 6 years and have enjoyed every student and every moment of it. Students and parents come to me with one ultimate goal and that is educational success. I break down that goal to smaller goals and have the student attain them one step at a time by building a better skills and educational foundation. Once that is rock solid the student sky rockets from there!

Keeping the student engaged is the main challenge. I have worked with students that have learning disabilities, ADHD, and ADD. I have found many ways and incentives to keep them motivated. I keep a working relationship with both the student and parents.

Giving Back Globally:
I have decided that every one deserves an opportunity for education and this year I am donating for each hour a student is tutored, $2.00 will go to the brick by brick program from Free the Children Foundation. 120 million children around the world are denied the basic right to an education which is the key to ending extreme poverty and hunger. This program helps construct schools in poverty stricken countries and helps provide an education to those in need.

A little bit about me and MY education:
I am a recent Florida International University graduate and currently hold my bachelors in Chemistry emphasis in Biochemistry minor in Biology. I graduated Fort Myers High School with my International Baccalaureate diploma. Prior to graduating I took part in the University of Miami Scholar’s program and completed an accelerated health sciences program emphasis in Neuroscience.
