Hi!

I'm 23 years old, and a biological sciences major. I received my 2 year year degree in 2010 in biology and I am currently enrolled at Florida Atlantic University, working on my Bachelor's degree for 2013. While I am new to WyzAnt, I am a veteran in the tutoring world. I've been tutoring since 2005. I finished all of my math requirements for my major about two years ago. My requirements went up to calculus one. Math is my strongest subject but I am very well rounded in the sciences as well as well as in English and literature. I've tutored a broad range of pupils, ranging from elementary school children to teachers desiring to pass the math portion of the teaching certification exam. I am very helpful in explaining math and find that I can display a clear vision of concepts and ideas such that a pupil can apply the information. In the past I have found that different techniques work for different students. I will be able to establish a student-tutor relationship, such that, I can help with study regimes. Some students may require a rigid study pattern while others may just require need by need clarification. When working with a student I make myself available via phone calls and e-mails ANYTIME. I have had pupils that excelled well, learned studying concepts, and eventually were able to help themselves and no longer required long-term tutoring or tutoring at all!

She is amazing!!!! — My daughter was preparing for the EOC, and Ms. Narcissus was wonderful. The cram she gave my daughter not only gave her new understanding of what my daughter thought was a difficult subject "ALGEBRA 1." Her explanation and resources were excellent, my daughter got a new confidence in problem solving. While sitting through the session I also was enlightened, math has never been my forte, but ...
