I have spent my whole life helping people.
As a teacher, I have helped children, youth and adults improve their writing
skills so that they can pass my class, do better in their own class or pass a standardized test such as the GED
, FCAT etc. Yes, I have taught for the often dreaded GED test! This experience allowed me to guide students to successfully passing the test. Sssh! Don't tell anybody that I told you but the secret to success is Never Give Up!
I have over six years of professional experience combined with a degree in English
and pursuit of a Master's Degree in ESE with an emphasis on reading. My professional experience includes teaching remedial students K-12, teaching GED courses and of course being a classroom teacher.
I am experienced in helping students to set, to meet and to exceed their personal goals. I have taught individuals how to use computers, seek employment, improve their life skills, read, write, and improve their grammar
and math etc. If you want to know how to learn, I am the teacher for you. I firmly believe that a good teacher is a facilitator of knowledge and teaches you how to identify your strengths and weaknesses. My goal is to teach you how to use your strengths and support/decrease your weaknesses. I am skilled in learning strategies, and I am capable of teaching you how to incorporate these strategies into your learning style. If you don't know your learning style, I can assist you with identifying it.

all their time preparing for standardized testing? Is it lack of time in the classroom? Or is it just plain old boring ? Well, boring...
One of the biggest frustrations for students is getting something wrong that they know how to do. What is usually the problem? Careless errors. Do students really care less? Probably, they care less for writing everything down step by step. They care
less about labeling the formulas. They care less about thinking about why they keep making that mistake. For some reason, I have found...
Winter break is approaching and I am sure most students and teachers are more than ready to rest, to relax and to rejuvenate. But how do you do that and keep your brain sharp and ready for when your return to school? The answer is very simple . Do something
interesting and fun that requires you to read ,to write or to learn something new. Whether you read...
