I have taken several years of chemistry including post graduate level organic chemistry. I have given classes to undergraduate courses in Miami-Dade College. I have a masters in biochemistry which required extensive chemistry background.
I have earned a Ph.d. in Pharmacology and Masters in Physiology and Biochemistry. I have been teaching Pharmacology to medicine, dentistry, optometry, post graduate nursing and physician assistant programs for the past 15 years. I am current with the USMLE step I and II standards and I teach principles and systems pharmacology to medicine presently. I have excellent teaching skills in the areas of MCAT science segment especially biochemistry. I have given crash courses towards USMLE preparation programs in the past. I also have reviewed the most recent edition of Lippincott's Illustrated reviews in Pharmacology, one of the best used USMLE review books currently available.
I have taken post graduate microbiology classes as a part of my masters degree at the National Dairy Research Institute in India. I have done extensive research in the area of virology and was involved in the first vaccine trials for HIV virus under Dr. Robert C. Gallo, the co-discoverer of HIV virus and AIDS, at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md.
