I am a senior research analyst for a large school district, with expert knowledge of statistics, and a strong mathematical background that I excel at imparting to students. I have served as an adjunct professor and a teaching assistant in quantitative disciplines as well as in the capacity of a reading therapist. I currently serve on several dissertation committees and enjoy working with students helping them to extend their thinking. I hold a Doctorate in Education concentrating in Research, Leadership, and Policy; a Master of Business Administration in Management Science; and, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
My common professional and teaching goal is to illuminate the way things work leading to a higher level of understanding and ultimately to superior performance. As a mentor, I believe that learning is a two-way exchange and only as good as the effort that you put into it. Stress is lessened when a student meets his/her responsibilities and completes assignments in a timely fashion. Self-esteem is heightened when students can demonstrate understanding of the subject manner.
