Hi,

I am an award winning traditional and professional computer artist, graduated at the top of my class, with honors, from The Art Institute. I can tutor from beginners to college level and beyond. Assist with your personal projects, art portfolio's to get into college, college classes or professional work.

Besides tutoring, I also work part time as an Art Director for a Design Firm. I have professional experience in 3d art, game art, web design, graphic design, drawing, painting and illustration. I utilize and keep up to date with the latest in industry software including: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Maya, Dreamweaver and Flash.

I approach my tutoring lessons by setting having goal set by the student. With an objective in mind, I gear every lesson specifically needed by each student.

I have been drawing for more then 20 years. I tutor concepts in drawing using techniques in perceptive, value and form, lighting and a two-dimensional approach.

I have work with every drawing tool from graphite, charcoal, color pencil, pastels, markets ect.

I use a notable craftsmanship and teach to develop an artistic expression with every drawing.

Maya

I have industry experience using 3d Maya and have been using it for almost a decade. I tutor 3D Animation, Texturing, Lighting, Modeling and Rigging and Rendering.

Lessons in 3D will generally teach from developing a Model, for instance, a character, then Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Lighting up the scene then Rendering, breaking up every step for ease of the student.

Computer Programming

My professional industry experience for computer programming comes from writing code for user interactive content for a Media Agency.

I have been programming for more than ten years, including programming languages: HTML, PHP, Javascript, ActionScript, MEL and C++.

In my Programming lessons, I show a student through concepts, in the process of designing, writing, testing, debugging and maintaining the source code.
