My name is John, and, if you want to achieve excellence, contact me for information and details of my exceptional experience, abilities and skills. I am originally from White Plains, NY and have been living in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for the past fifteen years.
I attended an all boys private Episcopalian boarding school in Concord, NH, called St. Paul's School. Upon receiving an academic scholarship to attend, I accepted and attended the school for three years graduating cum laude in English, Spanish and religion. I also enjoyed courses in history and the social sciences.
Once graduation from St. Paul's School was completed, I attended Princeton University for four years, placed out of the freshman English requirement and went on to major in sociology, minor in education and completed a senior thesis of over 100 pages. In 1979, I accepted a full time position teaching social studies at White Plains High School in White Plains, NY, and in 1981 procured my master of science in education with a specialization in American history.
I moved from White Plains, NY, to teach English in Cali, Colombia, South America from 1990 to 1995. In coming back to the USA, I relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL, where I worked as an English instructor for two intensive English programs which cater to international/foreign students from all over the world. In addition, I taught English and reading at City College in Fort Lauderdale and also worked with international students there.
