I have a course for a student who just wants test taking tips and that is 3 weeks at 3 times per week. This is for the student who needs a little math review and more on standardized test taking skills review.
For the student who needs more math review I have a 6 - 12 week program at 3 times per week. The total time each week should be 3 hours per week. As the testing deadline approaches we will meet less but each meeting will be for a longer duration.
Prerequisites include factoring; solving 1 and 2 step linear equations; adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers; combining like terms; the order of operations.
Algebra 2 success requires the mastery of solving quadratics by 3 methods: factoring, complete the square, and the quadratic formula
The most difficult area for students is Conic Sections and this is where the knowledge of solving quadratics by factoring and completing the square becomes most important. Mastery of radicals and complex numbers is the final step to Algebra success and successful SAT preparation
For the student who needs more math review I have a 6 week program at 3 times per week. The ASVAB math portion isn't particularly long but the entire test will take 3+ hours. We will practice longer if scheduling permits.
I am a very successful basketball coach with college and high school experience. My areas of expertise for individual development include shooting and ball handling. The topics that most students need help on are LHopitals, Limits, and The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. I will make those subjects simpler so that they can progress to the Derivatives and Integrals of advanced calculus.

Discrete Math is the study of math concepts that apply to non continuous functions. I have taught the entire course at school and I have taught all of the Discrete Math Courses separately for more than 10 years.
The following are the topics most often found in Discrete Math Text Books: Set theory, Graph theory, Probability, Number theory, Algebra, Calculus of finite differences, discrete calculus or discrete analysis, Geometry, Topology, Game theory, decision theory, utility theory, and social choice theory.
With all of the interesting topics this is one the more "fun" math courses.
I have extensive knowledge in math but I am well versed in reading and writing through grade 6. My specialty is motivating younger children to work at math until the success becomes contagious. My program for elementary combines math with exercise and sports. I have had success with all levels of students who have participated. I call this program the MRS (Math. Reading. Sports Program.). The summer is a great time to get caught up to or get ahead of grade level.
The emphasis on grades through 2nd is add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers. Speed will be a factor in mastery of 1 and 2 column whole numbers. Mastery is considered 95% accuracy with the required speed.
Grades 3 - 5 the emphasis will be on catching up to those skills and mastering new skills that include fractions, decimals, and the order of operations. Mastery is considered 95%.
The basics of an education can be achieved by anyone eager to succeed in life. Arithmetic and grammar are the first building blocks. Algebra and vocabulary are next on the list. To get to the level needed to pass the GED we will need a minimum of 3 solid weeks either face to face or on line.
Plane Euclidean Geometry is best described as a following directions course. If you don't understand the directions, ask the question again and again until you understand the direction. Euclidean Geometry is also a logic course that forces one to think logically. The emphasis will be on understanding the logic components of geometry and applying the theorems/postulates/corollaries to real world problems.

The last component for PSAT success is the practice. I have developed several strategies and procedures that will allow any parent a quick follow up and follow through. This follow through will help improve the veracity and the tenacity of the practice.
My SAT preparation success is derived from three parts. Preparation is the first part. This includes but is not limited to showing up on time. Organization is the next part, without the organizational skills needed to prepare for the test makes it very challenging for a student to score their best. Last is practice. I have a slew of remedies and quick follow up procedures that will help improve the veracity and the tenacity of the practice.
My name is Paul M. I graduated from college in 3 years with a double major in Math and Psychology. I was a Magna Cum Laude graduate as an undergrad while playing basketball for an NCAA National Champion. My oldest son graduated in the top 1% of his class while being a 4 year starter in basketball at the varsity level. He is on track to have his undergraduate degree in 3 years and his Master's in 4. I have the ability to achieve and the knowledge to teach others how to learn.

I have been working with athletes for 15 years to help them improve their running and jumping abilities. I started a program called the S.P.E.A.D. S stands for speed; P is for power; E is for explosiveness; A is for and; D is for discipline. The summer is the time we make athletes better. My program combines weight lifting, plyometrics, and sprint training. Come join us for a workout.
