Biology

I have been teaching all levels of Biology for 12 years. I am currently Nationally Board certified in science placing me in the top 3% or teachers nationally. I teach in the local high school and specialize in preparing students for the Biology AP, EOC and subject tests as well as clarifying and consolidating coursework for success at the high school, college or technical school level. Study Skills

I am available to reinforce study skills in students including the sciences, math and reading. As a high school teacher, part of my job (for 15 years) is to teach the students strategies to make their study time more successful. I teach them note taking skills, outlining, reading for comprehension and retention. Diagramming, highlighting and creating relevance are all a part of study skills.

ESL/ESOL

I have my ESOL certification as part of my current Florida State Teachers Certificate. I can assist students in writing school papers and studying for exams in the sciences especially, integrating techniques for speakers of other languages.

Zoology

As a career high school science teacher I teach Biology/Anatomy/Zoology on a daily basis. My undergraduate studies were in Biology with a Masters Degree in Science Education. Vertebrate comparative zoology and anatomy are my special fields of expertise. Please allow me to work with you one on one at the undergraduate or graduate level.

I am certified to teach all levels and topics in Biology.

TEAS

As a master degreed teacher I specialize in all areas of science. My degree is in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a graduate degree in Science Education. I teach high school biology/anatomy and currently successfully tutor TEAS candidates and nursing students.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
