Hello! I am a classically trained American professional singer who studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, the birthplace of Mozart, where all music classes were conducted in German, by famous German teachers. Two years later, I joined German National TV/Deutsche Welle as a bilingual reporter, moderator, spokesperson, editor, and writer for TV. I worked at this job for 10 years. The program was carried in the U.S. on PBS stations in the U.S. and in 87 countries around the world. I was often a spokesperson for private companies such as Deutche Bank, Commerz Bank and Barklay Banks doing international voice-over work for American clients. Later I moved to Thailand, where I taught German classes to aspiring singers and actors at Silapakorn Univ. in Bangkok. I have taught privately as well, and thanks to the varied nationalities of my students, eventually developed several tricks and "short-cuts" that I use successfully to help students MASTER the art of speaking German!
As a professional singer and stage personality in Europe, I can assure you that these IDEAS WORK! If you need German lessons on any level, I can help you easily and painlessly to do this... WHILE MAKING THE LESSONS FUN! I hope to hear from you! Sincerely, Your new German Teacher
