Greetings, I am an enthusiastic professional in the Fine Art Sales field who gets my greatest enjoyment from teaching and tutoring others. I think everyone has the capacity to learn, but needs the information delivered in a manner that is customized to how they learn. I understand that each student is an individual and everyone is unique in how they best comprehend new ideas; auditory, visual, experience or a combination of the three. My combined education and professional career in the Fine Arts find me particularly well suited for tutoring reading, writing and comprehension as well as all aspects of art creation and art history. I have been an art and antiques professional for over 20 years, teaching artists, collectors and interested people about fine art, art history and sales in a light and enjoyable way. I truly enjoy sharing and teaching knowledge.
My Master’s degree was obtained through Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London where I learned the finer points of evaluating arts and antiques on the basis of condition, quality and construction as well as placing them in historical context to obtain date and relevance. This education and the professional experience since has provided me a wide knowledge base of writing and reading comprehension as well as all aspects of art, art history and art marketing.
