I'm a certified 7-12 English teacher, licensed in 2 states. I specialize in writing instruction. I also have extensive experience in standardized test prep. I have taught on all levels from ESL and remedial to advanced placement. I also have experience with reading instruction and have worked with children on the elementary level, as well as with children on the Autism Spectrum. Additionally, I have also worked with students working on their college essay and applications. I like to make learning fun and interesting and I try to instill confidence, try to encourage self-motivating techniques and foster the use of innovation and imagination. I really like and relate easily to kids of all ages and have an 11 year old of my own. I am looking to tutor on the weekends, varying hours preferably in my home or in a public place. Tutoring in student's home is negotiable.

I have experience teaching children varying levels of ADD and ADHD on the junior high school and high school level. I also have a child with ADHD.

I have extensive experience with ABA, discrete trials and data collections. I also have experience teaching students with Autism at the junior high school and high school level.
