I am a student and currently in the process of obtaining my teaching certification. I love working with children and am very patient. I have volunteered at La Petit academy for two years where I worked one on one with toddlers and elementary level children and tutored them. I feel that with patience and approaches relevant to each individual's learning method, students are able to understand material that had been previously taught with only one method. It is difficult for a teacher to cater to each student in depth in regards to making sure each student understands the material they are being taught. This is why I believe after school tutoring is essential for children to make advancements in school.
I also have a seven year old sister whom I have had the pleasure of tutoring since before she entered preschool. She has won awards for student of the month and has been commended for her advancement in reading and math. I look forward to helping you and your child.
