Hello potential tutee!
Every since I was a child I have been extremely detail-oriented and would point out errors I found in books to my mother. So it only made sense that I would study Literature in college and I actually planned to go into publishing. Sadly, we all know the turn the publishing industry has taken. In college mostly studied 18th century Literature and graduated with a 3.7. I was also one of 3 people in my Senior Seminar class to get an 'A' on my final paper. I am an academic at heart and love enabling people to better understand a concept, and hopefully even excite them about that concept. Post-college I worked many freelance jobs including tutoring in English and general education classes. During my previous work as a tutor I assisted in everything from the creation of outlines to finale 'night before the paper was due' editing.
I am also qualified to teach beginners art classes. I minored in art in college, studying both studio art and art history. While a senior in college I was a TA for Ceramic 1 and 2 classes. I feel art is a good outlet for stress even if it is pursued only as a hobby.
I look forward to helping you with your academic pursuits!
