I am an experienced college, high school and middle school teacher with Florida and California teaching credentials in Social Science and Introductory Science. I am also certified to teach English to EFL students and adults. I hold a B.A. in history from Excelsior College, New York and a post-baccalaureate degree from California State University, Long Beach.

I tutor clients all over Palm Beach County in a wide variety of subjects. I am also an active K-12 substitute teacher in the Palm Beach School District. I have recently returned from a two-year assignment in Rome, Italy where I taught English, Business English and TOEFL preparation to more than 40 students.

I have taught History/Social Science full-time at Wilson Classical High School in Long Beach, California. At the Long Beach BLAST tutoring center, I tutored reading, writing, listening, grammar and vocabulary to EFL high school students struggling to learn English and pass their state language tests. I have also served as an Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science at Santa Ana Community College in California.

I have served as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching Introduction to Computer Science, Santa Ana College, CA. 2004-2008. I taught college level courses in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Movie Maker.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
