I have a B.S. from New York University(Accounting) and an MBA from City University(Finance).

I am an experienced tutor in accounting, bookkeeping, economics, finance, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, quick books, tax preparation and excellent PC skills.

I retired from The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2007 after 15 years as Assistant Controller. I was responsible for reporting, budgeting, inventory and year end auditing. I have worked with auditors, Price Waterhouse Coopers, on reporting year end results.

I am an experienced tax preparer in personal income taxes using H&R Block TaxCut.

I have very strong bookkeeping and accounting skills from working in public accounting, private industry and working at the Museum. I have accumulated heavy skills preparing Excel worksheets for reporting and Word documents for letter writing.

Tax Preparation

I have been preparing personal income taxes over ten years and use H&R TaxCut for return preparation.
I am now a registered tax preparer with the IRS and can efile returns. I am now offering training and assistance in learning how to prepare individual income tax returns. Topics discussed will be what kind of income to include on the return and where to show it. Itemized deductions are discussed in detail and where to show them.
