I have had teaching experience spanning 10 years of combined teaching and tutoring in science, technology and math.
My tutoring experience includes having trained with and tutored standardized test prep for both Princeton Review and Kaplan.
Most students struggling in mathematics tend to have holes in their fundamental understanding of concepts taught earlier in the year or in prior years. Given my experience teaching math at all levels, I focus on finding these holes and making sure they are filled with the requisite understanding.
Standardized test preparation is an area of expertise. I teach a variety of test-taking strategies that help students increase their scores. I can work with students struggling in a specific section. I have also worked with students that have good scores and helped them get better scores. Wherever you are on the percentile chart, coaching and tutoring can help.
