My Marketing experience began in 1987. As a Navy Recruiter, marketing was the one skill required for success. I developed specific marketing techniques that were nationally used to achieve Medical Recruiting goals, specifically, in obtaining Physician recruiting goals for the first time in over 10 years. I was asked by the Navy to publish my techniques in Navy Recruiting Magazine in 1990 and to present at the National Recruiting Conference. After retiring from the Navy, I was hired as the Market Director for the largest Home Improvement Company in Northwest Florida. I worked with two major home improvement retailers forming a symbiotic relationship that significantly increased sales. I have operated three businesses at a time and believe business does not fail because of experience or sales; businesses fail because they do not develop the marketing skill necessary to promote and make their business successful. A business plan is necessary, a market plan is mandatory.
