I have a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
and Master of Aircraft Propulsion Systems from Warsaw Polytechnic Institute Poland.
Two years part time teaching of Mathematics
in High School Poland, and one year teaching as Professor's Assistant of mechanical Design in Warsaw Polytechnic.
I had been working thirty-three years for Motorola Inc. My responsibility was design, calculation, and development of several mechanical packages in electronic industry. My job included also analytical stress calculation, kinematics and dynamics of mechanical devices. During my Motorola carrier I have received 18 Patents.
In the past I have helped many students (age 11 to 22 years old) at home, who neglected their math
subjects in high school.
My method of the home teaching math is as follows:
a.Sit down with the student in a quiet with no iteration place.
b.Find out to what extend and variety is student math negligence. c
.Rebuild necessary basic mathematical knowledge in order to understand the future advance study.
d.Clearly explain study subject, until it is understood and memorized.
e.Use as many examples as necessary until the student is capable to solve similar math problems by himself.
f.Watch amazing impact of the tutoring in the progress of the student’s advance in the mathematical knowledge.
In my tutoring experience, the students have often commented that I have a unique ability to make difficult things easy to understand, by using simple language
supported by good examples.
Additionally, having a solid experience in engineering, I can clearly explain a practical meaning and importance of the science and math in every day life. Lately, I have provided a math’s help to my granddaughter in her last two years in the Middle School, and recently in the first year of the High School. On average my students within two months have improved their understanding of math, and their grades improvements followed.
