EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION is at the heart of teaching. A deep knowledge of the subject matter must be there BUT if all you are is good in math you're not a teacher!

I am a retired math teacher from the Rochester, New York area. I have taught at the middle school, high school and college level. My strength is being able to explain the concepts of math in everyday terms. People tell me all the time "Why didn't they just say that??".

I have taught everything from adding fractions to calculus II. At the local community college in Rochester, I was always at the top of the student surveys. One year 100% of my college students recommended me. If I accept you as a pupil, I am willing to GUARANTEE you will see an improvement in your grade.

Best tutor ever! I highly recommend Mr. Philip! He is an excellent tutor, teacher, and overall great mathematician. He has been helping my 17 year old daughter deal with her math phobias and helping her become an excellent math student. Thank you, Mr. Philip. ...
