Elementary (K-6th)
I hold a Master’s of Science degree and graduated at the top of my class. I also have experience teaching second graders through six graders who were struggling in Math, Reading, and Science. Furthermore, as a psychology major, I routinely employ cognitive training techniques to help my students memorize and comprehend the learning material, the same techniques that helped me succeed in my academic endeavors.

As a psychology major, I employed cognitive training techniques to help students memorize and comprehend the learning material, the same techniques that helped me succeed in my academic endeavors. I also employed the Socratic Method to help my students understand the material rather than memorizing it just for the sake of memorization.

My graduate degree is in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, which is an interdisciplinary discipline that borrows heavily from sociology, psychology, family therapy, education, political science, philosophy, and anthropology. I am trained in the latest theoretical and practical applications as they relate to social studies.
SPSS
As a social science researcher, I routinely use SPSS to conduct my studies, whether it be in the self-efficacy in predicting gender norms and self-esteem level; impact of gender, race, and political affiliations in predicting the extent to which a person ascribe to Islamophobic tendencies; or the extent to which familial contexts predict family conflict and manipulation strategies. I also trained my fellow students to use SPSS during my undergraduate and graduate coursework.
Study Skills
I have extensive experience with helping students develop and refine their own study patterns. My clients have ranged from elementary students, middle school, high school, and even college students. To assist my students to study better, I employ cognitive training techniques that encourage comprehensive learning rather than just memorizing the content, the same techniques that helped me succeed in my academic endeavors.

I’ve published and have presented my work both nationally and internationally on social issues such as war and genocide, gang violence, family conflict dynamics, and more.
