I am interested in helping students with general studies tutoring help as well as helping students with special needs. I have great knowledge and experience in various science topics, but I also enjoy English. I would be happy to tutor students of any age as long as they want my help, but I especially would enjoy working with younger students. I am a recent graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and, as a new member of the healthcare team, take my new responsibility as a healthcare professional very seriously. When I was a recent high school graduate, I was asked to come back to my high school and tutor math. I enjoyed it very much at the time, and I am now in the position to tutor once again.
I like to create and maintain a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning, and I encourage students to become independent learners. I will help students to realize their full potential without threat or embarrassment. I will help students to recognize their learning style and to suggest study techniques that may help in overall comprehension of the subject and in completing assignments, thereby helping them improve their grades and performances on exams and tests.
I have excellent communication skills, and I am willing to interact with students, parents, teachers, coaches and professors on a regular basis. I will monitor the effort of students and make sure they are making positive strides in their classes. I am organized and am a very patient person, and will take the time necessary for students to fully grasp the topic at hand. I am looking forward to helping your students get back on the right track with their learning process!
