Dear potential students and parents,
I'm Ronald and I have officially tutored for a year and a half, however, I have worked as a counselor and teacher for most of my life. Much of my work has been with the developmentally disabled.
I tutor reading, history, writing, social stduies and elementary math.
One of the main benefits that I offer is that even though I am a bit older, I just completed my university degree in history. I know how to
write college papers. This is especially important for high school students that plan to attend college. In the arts portion of a college degree, the student will read from a text book or online and then will be required to write essays, term papers or research papers. I am excellent in this field.
With elementary and middle school students, the best way to have students learn is to try and make it fun and present it in a way they can relate to.
The other main component is to clearly identify what is expected. Kids are smart and our job is to focus that intelligence.
