I am currently a Supplemental Instructor and Tutor at FAU working on a Master's Degree in Economics and intending to pursue a PhD in Finance beginning next fall.
I have 8 years of securities and commercial real estate brokerage experience bookended by 6 years of high school teaching experience, ranging from 7th grade math to Calculus Honors.
I have been tutoring since the last millennium and have privately tutored well over a hundred students and hundreds more at various special programs.
I have 10 years of swimming coaching experience and have taught hundreds of private and group swimming lessons.
I have become a very active volunteer over the past several years.
When teaching and tutoring, I focus on improving students' fundamental skills and step by step methods to solving problems and preparing for future learning. I also stress methods to reduce or eliminate arithmetic mistakes that cause wrong answers for students who know the material.
