Algebra 1

Algebra is a subject which is critical that a student do well in. The ability to master this subject will greatly affect the students performance in all subsequent math classes. SAT Math

The SAT Math test challenges the problem solving ability of the student and the student's ability to apply mathematical principles to the solution of the stated problem. Over many years of helping students I have the skill to teach the student how to master each type of question they will encounter. ACT Math

One-on-One is the best way to prep for the ACT. I ask the student to work on math problems prior to the tutoring session. Once i arrive we go over all problems the student did not get correct. During this process I teach any math concepts that have been "forgotten" and teach the student how to analyze each type of question and teach the student how to get to the correct answer.
I help ensure that on test day the student will achieve his best score.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have many years of tutoring experience. During those years I have worked with primary school aged students (Elementary (K-6th)) to help them grasp fundamentals of reading and mathematics. Working with younger children has its special rewards as one watches them grow intellectually "right before your eyes."

Public Speaking

I have been President of a local Toastmasters group in Massachusetts. This group met at my place of work. I was involved with this group for several years learning the skills needed to become a relaxed, confident and skilled public speaker.

CLAST

College-Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) validates that the student has acquired the knowledge expected of a college graduate. My many year of tutoring math, science, verbal skills and writing skills allows me to help a student prepare for this test. During my college career I have obtained a BSEE, MEE and MBA and therefore am well qualified to help a student pass the CLAST test.

Computer Science

I am a retired software engineer. I have worked for Raytheon company on radar system software for over 30 years.

Fortran

I am a retired software engineer. I have done computer programming for over 30 years. I have programmed complicated radar system applications using the Fortran language.
