Dear Families,
I am currently teaching a mixed class of second and third grade in a private school. This is my seventh year at this school. In past years here I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade. Our classes are always multi-age grouped. Prior to being here I taught at another private school where I taught fourth grade for two years and second grade for four years.
I taught gifted Kindergarten for one year at my local public school and was a substitute teacher in ten public schools for four years. Whew!
I love teaching and my students have made great progress through the years - especially in reading! I can provide your child(ren) with a solid foundation in reading skills. Many students are missing important basic elements that they need to be successful. These skills also are necessary in math, science, social studies, etc.
I have tremendous patience and am always professional. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and your child(ren).
