I am a retired Osteopathic Physician and Medical Technologist with over 40 years of experience in medicine and have taught in a vocational school setting for the past 8 years. This included being the coordinator of the Medical Assistant program and instructor for all classes including anatomy and physiology, medical office set up, laboratory, phlebotomy, EKG, and medical terminology. In my list of duties I also tutored students in the program. I tend to be very personal with my students and concerned with their learning. I enjoy a one-on-one relationship as it is much easier to interact with the student than in a large class setting and I can give more intensive attention to the students problems and questions. I don't pretend to know everything and if there is a question I don't know, I say so and we look up the information together so we both learn. I am never overbearing or pushy and am always concerned with my students feelings. I care.
