I'm an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and for learning! I've been an elementary-school librarian (10 years) and an English teacher of both high-school students and college freshmen. In addition to having an undergraduate degree in English education, I have graduate degrees in English - Creative writing and in library science.
Additionally, I've worked as an editor for the award-winning journal Boulevard and for the Wilmington News Journal. My articles, interviews, reviews, and poetry have been published in a variety of local and national publications.
