I'm a teacher who loves teaching and helping students achieve their full potential through tailoring my lessons to meet each individual student's needs. I truly enjoy interacting and working with each student to empower and enrich their learning experience. I'm young and my teaching style is engaging and interactive.

My background is in Business Administration, Bio-Science and Therapeutic bodywork. This combination brings to my teaching both analytical and intuitive skills which truly allow me to tune into my student's needs. I'm able to hone in on their strengths, weaknesses and learning styles and quickly gain their confidence and cooperation.

I've been tutoring for 19 years and I work with students of all levels. I've tutored elementary school students in Study Skills, Reading, Spelling, Comprehension and Math. My experience with middle school students has been in History, Reading, Grammar, Comprehension and Essay Writing. With high school students my tutoring has been primarily with SAT Verbal.

I've been working with children in elementary through high school for a number of years with reading, writing, math and comprehension.

I empower my student to develop confidence and make their learning fun. In addition, I work with the parent to strategically help their child excel in the required subject.

Writing

I've worked with juniors and seniors on their SAT and ACT essays, as well as tutored middle school students on their writing projects in various subjects. My students feel supported, empowered and confident and see consistent progress in their assignments.

Elementary Math

I've tutored children ages 4-11 for the last 7 years in elementary math, reading, writing, comprehension and social studies.

I have a natural affinity in working with children of all ages, especially those at the elementary level, and have consistently won the trust and goodwill of both the child and the parent.

Elementary (K-6th)

I've been working with children of all ages for a number of years in various subjects such as Reading, Writing, Spelling and Grammar.

I really enjoy working with children and empowering them to learn and discover their strengths and abilities. I've tutored children privately in a one-on-one and a group setting and publicly as in the Kumon system.

In addition to empowering the child I also harness the parent's assistance in meeting their child's goals.

Study Skills

I'm a visual, auditory and kinesthetic learner. I've been tutoring for 19 years and I work with students of all levels.

The tools I've used have included index cards, creating mnemonics and maps, finding relationships (in information that needs to be memorized) and creating audio content.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
