The ACT Mathematics Test is a 60-question, 60-minute test designed to measure the mathematical skills students have typically acquired in courses taken by the end of 11th grade. These skills include Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Trignometry. I give a practice test for ACT to find student's weakness areas. I emphasize those areas when teaching ACT Math and also teach Math study skills, and reasoning skills for ACT to the student.
I tutor ACT Science students to solve problems in all the three question formats used on ACT Science test.

I tutor students in general knowledge of natural sciences for this test. Advanced knowledge in science subjects is not required for this test. This test emphasizes scientific reasoning skills over recall of scientific content, skill in mathematics, or reading ability. The Science Test measures the skills required in the natural sciences: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and problem solving.
Based on student's liking/aptitude, I teach student for specific AFOQT composite subtests. I also give helpful tips to help him/her succeed in getting selected for specific officer program. I can tutor/guide students for all 5 AFOQT composites (all 11 subtests). I focus my teaching on the basic concepts needed to solve different categories of questions in subtests for each AFOQT composite.
Algebra 1 course is normally taken after prealgebra course. I teach following topics in Algebra 1: Numerical Expressions, Properties of Real Numbers, Ratio, Percent, Functions, Linear Equations, Graphing Relations and Functions, Linear Inequalities, Quadratic Functions and Inequalities, Graphing Quadratics, Polynomial Functions, Rules of Factoring, Complex Fractions, and Square Roots.
I teach Algebra 2 to High School and college students. I teach following topics in Algebra 2: numbers and operations, complex numbers, matrices, proportion, algebraic relations, patterns, Sequences and Series, recursive functions, properties of linear, absolute value, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and rational functions, inverse of functions, rules of exponents, solve system of linear and quadratic equations or inequalities with two variables, rate of change, intercepts, asymptotes, Geometric and Spatial relationship, Use matrices to represent translation, rotation, dilation and reflection, use simple transformations and their compositions on linear, quadratic, logarithmic and exponential functions, conic sections, measurements, counting methods, data analysis and probability, scatter plots.
For ASVAB, I teach following subjects or any combination of those subjects based on student's need.

I am a small business owner and I have tutored MBA students in variety of subjects from a Quantitive Analysis course at La Salle University to a Business Intelligence course at DeVry University.
I teach Calculus to college and high school students (AP Calculus AB and BC). I modify my teaching method and topics based on student's existing knowledge. The prerequisite for this subject is algebra 2, trigonometry, geometry and precalculus (analytical geometry and elementary functions).

My speciality area for elementary students is teaching Math, Reading, and Science but I have taught elementary school students in all subjects. I understand the needs of younger students. I emphasize on teaching study skills along with needed subjects to elementary school children.
