I have been a tutor and professor for the past two years, and was a lawyer for several years before that. I believe in teaching the way they do in law school - by using the Socratic Method. This means I like to ask questions to help you use your critical thinking skills to solve problems. I have experience tutoring students from 5th grade through high school in subjects ranging from pre-algebra to SAT prep. Additionally, I have published articles in law journals, have worked as an editor on an academic journal, am currently writing a book, and was the 2005 nonfiction finalist for the National Undergraduate Literature Conference. While I am trained as a lawyer, my true passion is in teaching and literature.
