My 10th grader was struggling with Honors Algebra II the first half of the school year. Sam was able to work with my teenager for a short time to prepare for the mid-term helping teach all that had been missed in the first part of the school year. Since then, they have worked together just an hour or so each week and the reported grade has improved to the point that an A is within reach for this marketing period. Individual confidence and understanding of the concepts is much improved. Sam has taken the burden off of our family as our teenager is now on the path to success. The best part is that my teenager respects (and likes) Sam and is motivated to work with him at the library so that the opportunity to learn what is covered in class is not missed. I could not have imagined a better tutoring experience. We expect to continue to work with Sam if his schedule permits to help prepare for the SATs and more if needed as more complicated math classes surface for 11th grade. I only wish we would have hired Sam earlier in the school year. Sam is patient, thorough, motivating, and an extremely talented math tutor. I highly recommend Sam to any other family looking for a math tutor. Sam delivers the support/confidence/results your child needs to help them succeed in math!

Nilay S. has worked hard with the student for over a month and has been exemplary in his teaching method. The student has been making positive and constructive progress, with his grades showing notable improvement. The only challenge with Nilay has been trying to schedule tutoring sessions on weekdays due to tutor's full time weekday job, however he's tried his best to accommodate the student when possible. Overall, this student has benefited from Nilay's consistent efforts by focusing and strengthening student's academic skills.

Nilay was a very patient tutor and was available when I had questions by e-mail. He would explain a particular math problem to me multiple times because I just did not get it. My daughter has been working with Sam for the past year now in Algebra and Pre-Calculus, and her math scores have significantly improved. My daughter has expressed to me that she likes Sam because he is very nice and patient. He has also re-arranged his schedule to help prepare for a test. Sam helped my daughter prepare for the GRE. Not having taken Math in several years, that became the focus of her time with Sam. Without question, I am VERY confident that the time spent with Sam increased her Math score significantly. Sam also helped her by providing some advice on the Essay portion of the exam. Sam is, obviously, a very bright young man, but he is also - and more importantly- a very good teacher. It was a GREAT choice going to Sam.

I had a pleasure of being helped with some assignment exercises that I needed help with. She was very alert, timely, and patient. She also helped me brush up on my attitude toward the course by letting me know how better prepare myself before going into the exercise. She was stern but she kept focus with the the matter at hand.
