I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry in 2011 from Lawrence University, WI. I work at the DuPont Experimental Station as an Associate Investigator.
During my college years, I was a course content tutor for Chemistry and worked for the Center of Teaching and Learning at my university. I tutored from my sophomore year till I graduated. Though I mainly tutored on one-on-one basis, I also have experience in holding study sessions for several students at a time.
In school, I was also part of a volunteer group that tutored grade school children who needed help with some schoolwork. I tutored a grade 4 boy in math for a year.
I am very interactive in my tutoring approach. I strive to make my tutoring sessions very easy-going and relaxed.
The students I tutored all reported positive improvements as time went on.
