I was a tutor and supplementary Instructor at Delaware State University. I tutor freshman students with math difficulties. I believe and learned that motivation is the key to inspire anyone to succeed. I also do not do the tutees' homework because it would hurt them in the long run. Instead I guide them with similar examples and break down the ideas so they can understand the process of solving any other similar math problem.
I tutor Spanish mainly because is my native language. The process of tutoring Spanish is the same as when tutoring math. The only difference is that I focus highly on pronunciation.
My math skills come from taking very difficult math courses while in college in my home country Venezuela, at the Simon Bolivar University (the most prestigious University in Venezuela) I took Calculus 1 and 2 and Linear Algebra.
The subjects with which I have plenty of experience are Algebra A, B, and College Algebra, but I would be glad to assume any level of math that the person needs to improve.
