Hello! I am excited to introduce myself as a WyzAnt tutor. I am a recent M.A. graduate from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). I truly believe in the power of education to lead to a more fulfilling life - the world is a big place and I would love to help you uncover it.
My general credentials thus include an MA from SAIS in International Economics
and International Relations with a 3.7 GPA, a cum laude BA in Global Affairs, French
, and Art History
, from George Mason University, and a GRE
score of 167 (verbal) and 159 (quantitative).
My tutoring strengths include:
- Economics. I took several classes as an undergrad as well as received my MA in international economics. I am thus comfortable with both basic economics as well as intermediate and more advanced and applied economics, including econometrics
. I served as an editor
on two separate student journals and in a professional setting, published an article this past spring, and have had three separate professors request to use papers I wrote as examples for future classes.
- French. I have studied the beautiful language
since 7th grade, including during college both in the classroom and studying abroad, and in preparation for passing a French proficiency exam in order to receive my MA.
I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, which is only applied sparingly. I am willing to work with you to schedule a make-up classes within a few days.
I am eager to meet you and help you on your path to success! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me.
