Hi there! I am offering my tutoring services for those who need help with high school math or SAT/GRE preparation. I am open to helping out in other subjects as well, but I feel especially comfortable with mathematical concepts, and I have recent experience preparing for standardized examinations. I love to teach, and would relish the opportunity to help others improve their skills.

I graduated from New York University with my Bachelor's degree in Economics, and I am starting graduate school this fall at Georgetown University to get my Masters in Applied Economics. Although I do not have much formal (paid) tutoring experience, I've always been someone that my family/friends/classmates have turned to when they've needed help with schoolwork (When I go home during the holidays, I am a busy man helping my family with various computer issues).

My tutoring mission statement consists of three things:

1) To help students achieve their desired results;
2) To provide a nurturing, supportive environment for students to learn; and
3) To empower students to use their skills with confidence when their tutor is not around.

I believe that everyone has their own way of learning, so I look forward to finding out which way is most effective for each student. To me, there is no such thing as a stupid question!

I have very flexible hours, and I am happy to work with you wherever is most convenient. Let me know!

Thank you and best of luck,
David
