My international upbringing, linguistic background, and career reflect a passion for dialectology, language instruction and multimedia.
Born in the United States, I grew up in rural Chad speaking Arabic, English, and French. I spent my teen years developing sports leagues and a cultural center for multimedia language instruction, where I taught youth and adult ESL.
I've since lived and worked in Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, South Sudan, Sudan, and Tunisia as a political analyst monitoring civic participation in post-conflict areas.
I've maintained regular experience teaching both Arabic and ESL and over the past 10+ years in Chad, Sudan, and the United States.
