Hi - My name is Catherine and I'm a fun, down-to-earth, and supportive individual. I'm from NOVA (Northern Virginia), went to college in Washington, D.C., and have been here ever since. I work in south Arlington for a government contractor, but really just enjoy helping people and getting involved in the community. You can generally find me walking my dog Carla, going to museums - The American History Smithsonian, National Portrait Gallery, Newseum, and the Building Museum are my favorites - or just exploring the city. I enjoy going to the movies and read a lot. I try to read books, but since I work full-time I generally end up reading the newspaper, blogs, and news sites. Learning hasn't always been easy but I've been able to generally find ways to help my mind break down seemingly complex subject-matter. I'm not great at economics (and never claimed to be), but I've always loved algebra, reading, and writing. I'm here to help you see your strengths and realize that you don't need to be stressed about any subject. We can work together and find a way that makes sense for you and help you grasp the subject matter. As long as you have a positive attitude, are good-natured, and okay with making mistakes then I can help you achieve most anything.
