As a certified English Language Arts teacher, I carry my commitment to education to all students. For the past twelve years I have taught all secondary grades from 9 to 12. Satisfaction has come from working with lower-level learners who need additional help. My duties have also included teaching prestigious college-level International Baccalaureate courses as well.
I have the ability to meet my students where they are and help them soar! High expectations are so effective in bringing out the best potential in students. Patience and willingness to allow students to learn at their own pace and in their own way is also a strength.
Tutoring high school students to succeed in their existing English Language Arts class or prepare for the SAT is what I can provide. In addition, even adult learners needing help with reading and writing skills are an area of my expertise.
